OUR APPROACH
We focus on the moments talent decisions go wrong — and how to fix them.
Backed by over a decade of experience working with organizations across the world, from F100 to police, military and more.

We see the same patterns, again and again.
Through our work, we see consistent breakdowns in how organizations make decisions about people.
Not because of lack of intent —
but because of how decisions are made in practice.
These issues can show up in:
Hiring decisions made too quickly
Behavior being misread or over-interpreted
Different standards applied by different people
THE UPTIMIZE TALENT FRAMEWORK
Better talent decisions require three things.
Our work is built around three questions that organizations consistently fail to ask — or answer well.
Recognizing Capability
Are we recognizing capability in all the ways it shows up?
Sound Judgment
Are we interpreting behavior accurately and fairly?
Consistent Standards
Are we applying clear, shared expectations?
This framework sits at the heart of everything Uptimize delivers — from the Neurodiversity Essentials course to our enterprise Talent Sprints. It's not a training checklist. It's a set of conditions that have to be true for talent decisions to be fair and effective.
BUILD AWARENESS
How we work
Through digital learning and practical resources, we help individuals and teams better understand differences in how people think, communicate and contribute.
ENABLE BETTER DECISIONS
Through workshops, facilitated discussion and practical tools, we help managers and teams build confidence in how they communicate, collaborate and make decisions.
STRENGTHEN SYSTEMS
Through diagnostics, consulting and focused interventions, we help organizations explore how hiring, development and management decisions shape outcomes.
Our Ethos
We believe organizations perform best when they make good decisions about people.
That means recognizing that capability doesn’t always show up in expected ways — and designing environments where different thinking and working styles can be understood and used effectively.
Our focus is practical: improving the real moments where decisions are made, So more of the right talent is seen, supported, and able to contribute.
This conviction comes directly from our founder. Ed Thompson built Uptimize after his own experience with a traumatic brain injury changed how he communicated and presented — and showed him firsthand how easily capable people get misread. That personal experience shapes everything about how we approach this work.
Taking it further
Over time, our work has increasingly expanded into broader questions around capability recognition, decision-making and organizational effectiveness. For organizations ready to go beyond awareness and training, this work forms the foundation of our Talent Sprints.
